Liverpool could make an £8m move for QPR striker Loic Remy as they seek to cover for striker Luis Suarez, 26, during his 10-match ban.
Bayern Munich are expected to make a move for Suarez,with the Germans increasingly resigned to missing out on Robert Lewandowski to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has refused to rule out a move for 24-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski.
