Kenya : 39 dead and 150 wounded in terrorist attack at Westgate Nairobi mall

The attackers entered the  Westgate centre at about 12:00 local time , throwing grenades and firing automatic weapons, the BBC reported.
Many have fled the scene while others were trapped inside . Security forces have been searching the shops to secure the area. The report added that one gun man was arrested and the rest are still inside the mall holding hostages .
Al shabaab militant group of Somalia claimed the responsibility of the attack and have posted in their Twitter account that they are in touch with the attackers inside Westgate Mall  . The gun men are still holding unknown number of hostages inside the mall according to the latest reports.
Family members of the Kenyan president , Uhura Kenyatta, are among the dead in the terrorist attack at Westgate shopping Mall in Nairobi , the Kenya president said tonight in a speech to the nation through the media. The president called for calm and resilience during the televised speech.
