‘Ozil will kill the Premier League at Arsenal’: Ex-Gunner Fabregas tips German to shine.

Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has tipped new Gunners’ signing Mesut Ozil to take the Premier League by storm.

Fabregas left the North London club for Barcelona in 2011, but still holds a strong connection at the club.

He believes that the room afforded to attackers in the Premier League makes it the perfect environment for the £42.5million German star to flourish.

Speaking to Al Primer Toque, Fabregas said: ‘He is going to enjoy the Premier League an awful lot. It is a league with much more space and Ozil is a player that, given time and space, he will kill you.

‘As we have already seen from his time at Real Madrid, his final ball is brilliant and I believe that he will really enjoy himself in England.’

Ozil wis expected to make his debut for the Gunners against Sunderland at The Stadium of Light on Saturday.
