From young refugee to medical director, at the same facility

Dr Anisa Ibrahim was just 6-years-old-child when her family settled in the USA after fleeing the civil war in Somalia. Growing up, she and her siblings were treated at various times at the Harborview Medical Center’s Pediatric Clinic in Seattle. Now, more than two decades later – and at a very young age – Anisa has just become director of the same clinic that cared for her as a child.
