In the first round, Hassan scored 60 voted whereas the ex-president scored 64 votes. In the second round of election, most of other candidates decided to withdraw from the consent and agreed to support Hassan Sheikh that consequence the defeat of ex-president, as Hassan Mohamoud 190 votes against 79 votes in favour of former president Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, which means Hassan sheikh obtained 71 % of the votes against 29 % of the Sheikh Sharif. Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud being only just heard his name too many outsiders including myself have surprised to everybody who watched the vote election.
