Some Somaliland Media organization lacks truth, integrity and ethics and that sourced for them not to be trusted by the public on view of unbalancing reporting and their fabrication on untruthful news and information

Journalism is the process distribution news and information to the public subject the e same is based on truthful, evidences and ethics and the  access to free information plays a central role in creating a system of checks and balance, and in distributing power equally amongst governments, businesses, individuals, and other social entities. Access to verifiable information gathered by independent media sources, which adhere to journalistic standards, can also be of service to ordinary citizens, by empowering them with the tools they need in order to participate in the political process. In Somaliland the purpose to be a journalist varies. Some of our media organizations are trustable and one can have faith on it, while many are established for propaganda and to spoil the images of noble people. We can understand the financial status for many of youths will be not permitting them to facilitate the right education to be a professional journalist. Despite of this reality, many are well disciplined and never crosses the red line of the journalism and work and epics standard, while many of them lacks moral reporting and publishes dishonourable news that did exit in the ground, while others are purely tribal minded or reflect how to full their wallets despite the immoral of their reporting. Many of them did not the difference between opinion and the actual reporting. 

Quite often have noted some news broadcasters televise their opinion instead of reporting news spotted.    It is not enough for journalists to see themselves as mere messengers without understanding the hidden agendas of the message and the myths that surround which many times lack journalistic ethics. Some of our media organizations are tribal minded and focused dividing our societies into tribes hostile to each other. Many of them copy news from some websites without checking the truth for the information copied.   

Moreover, some news outlets even go further to fabricate news to fit their interest and maybe to lure new readers.  For example there are many Somaliland websites that almost over 90% news and information merely published to satisfy Somaliland government opposition in an effort to spoil the image government or top government officials. Some of them and progress attained by the government are considered is a threat to themselves .But majority of Somaliland public well acquainted which media organization to trust and which not trust. In reality the days whereby the public believes any information they have been informed not exist more. The media organization which I mean is well acknowledged to the public without naming them. Somaliland society lost the confidences of these in view of their fabricating news and their bias reporting some of or media are political bias as they never accept or publish alternative or the opinion to others.

 Being freelance writer, many Somaliland not prepared to publish my articles since my opinion is different than their own. Their eye sees only what they like and as a result they only publishes what they the pubic to reads.Some people think that the truth can be hidden with a little cover-up and decoration. But as time goes by, what is true is revealed, and what is fake fades away, but in three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. But contrarily we have some media organization which one can depend their true reporting at all times, as  engaged many are looking at opportunities to offer more immersive storytelling experiences, and add greater depth and added value to our media.

 These media organization maintain the media ethics and not known fabricating events like some others do. In of their neutrality reporting, these media organization are more popular than those mentioned reason being these have captured the trust of the public.   Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed.  Our duty should be to encourage everyone in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth. In event any tell the truth, he should not to remember, but if not your memory should standby at all time . Truth never takes away your mind stability while contrary does.
